The original Nocturnal of EPMD Hit Squad | EDP Records | Breathing Fire album underway
Yasin Muhammadi aka (The Original) Nocturnal | EDP Records – Hales from New Jersey, and is an original member of the legendary group “The Hit Squad” which spawned from the legendary iconic Hip hop group “EPMD” which stood for (Erick and Parish Making Dollars). It consists of “Erick Sermon and Parish Pmd Smith” the “Mic Doc”. They had various members which included “Das Efx”, K Solo, Redman, Hurricane G, Keith Murray, DJ Scratch, The Knuckleheads, Top Quality, and Jerry West. He also ghostwrote classics that went gold receiving several Gold record plaques which are on his wall till this very day.
Today “Nocturnal” is working on something special for the culture, an album titled “Breathing Fire”, which is being built at a rapid pace in order to bring it to the people with haste, but also isn’t being rushed. A pro like “Noc”, can produce bars on a conveyer belt.

The underground hip hop artist known as ‘Influence Getem’ hails from both the Inwood section of Manhattan, and the Bronx boroughs of New york, where he is widely respected for his outstanding skills as a lyricist and ability to story tell, thus exploiting a more raw depiction of life and its occurrences, exhibiting different aspects, views and possible outcomes of particular or random situations at hand using versatility as well as an incredibly unique delivery and energy. Life is better these days
I’ve came a long way. Far from vast negativity, poverty, depression, abuse, the system, snakes of the human race, poor relationship picks, a concrete jungle, and whatever life threw in my path. I’m still here, things could be worse. Within 5 years, I’ve managed to solidify a name in music as an artist on the underground circuit, collaborating with legends as well as icons in Hip hop. Boombap is what I love, so I continue to keep the essence alive with careful beat choices, bars that make sense, impactful delivery, and a respect for the culture that’s rare in today’s artist’s of urban music. MANY have forgotten what it means to pay homage. There were several pioneers before us that deserve recognition for what’s known as Hip hop music.
